Emirates Viaduct Trip
Yesterday the year 4,5s went on a trip to the viaduct harbour for the genesis trip.When we got to school i walked to the hall and put on my orange genesis t-shirt then a few seconds later Mrs Bound put us into our groups group A and B we also had parent helpers they were my mum Tyriques grandma and Caedons mum. The people in my group were: Mele,Hena,Luminous,Breeze,Tema, and Yon. First up was racing with sphero bolts. Sphero bolts are small robots and we could control the robot on a small ipad. We had so much fun it was also really funny because some of the girls Robots crashed into each other.
Next up was meeting the sailors from the new zealand Emirates crew. We met Finn,Steven and Marius and we got to ask them interesting questions about them.After that we went into the spark headquarters and did cool activities with our instructor Sofie.We made cool boats on a pink ipad that said activate and we had a competition who can get the most scores and Mele U won… after that we had virtual team photo´s with the sailors we could choose who we wanted to take a picture with.
After we went inside the cool spark headquarters we came out and Sofie said ¨we got your team goody bags¨ and our crew felt
